Compton, Calif. – Sophomore Dominique Alexander earned his first triple double of the season in the match between the Compton Tartars (8 – 8) and the Pasadena City Lancer (9 – 9). The Tartars defeated the Lancers in over time with a score of 87 – 84.
In his achievement of earning his triple-double Alexander posted up 21 points, 16 rebounds, and 12 assists.
Freshman Frank Murray was the lead scorer of the night posting up 25 points. Freshmen Onaje Higgins, Dejour Hamlin, and Dorian Stewart all posted up double digits with 17, 10, and 10 point respectively.
The Tartars play again at home against the East Los Angeles Huskies (16 – 1) Wednesday night with a 6 p.m. tip off.
