Compton, Calif.- The Compton Tartars Men's Basketball commit costly fouls in their conference loss.
The Tartars commit 25 personal fouls in a loss to the Vikings. The Tartars committed fouls that led to the Vikings shooting 33 free throws. The Tartars were led in scoring by sophomores A Al Najim Ashley, and Gabriel Ajemian with both scoring 23 points. The Tartars were battling throughout the game and cut into the Vikings lead to as little as four points with 5:30 left in the second half. However, the Vikings maintain their aggression with driving hard to the basket for either made baskets or shooting fouls. After a three game homestand the Tartars will try to get back on the winning track in conference play on the road.
The Tartars currently have a (2-2) record in conference play. The men's basketball team (7-10, 2-2) next game will be on the road Wednesday, February 2nd at 5:00 pm against the Cerritos College Falcons (11-6, 3-0).
